Duolingo
For this assignment I designed a “Language Essentials” handbook for Duolingo users to take with them while they travel. The handbook is connected to their Duolingo account and is available to online order for Super Duolingo users, or is available for purchase at airports. The QR code on the back of the book connects the book to their app, where they can unlock country specific app icons.
Outside of the app, I placed helpful posters in popular travel locations to aid those who do not speak the country’s native language. In addition, I placed scannable posters in places like cafes for users to scan and unlock exclusive profile icons.
This campaign also features a shareable Instagram story with the hashtag #TalktotheWorld, where users can show off their language skills to friends.
